Douglas Robb is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geography at the University of British Columbia. Doug’s research explores the intersection of landscape architecture, political ecology, and emerging trends in digital representation.

Doug is a Vanier Doctoral Scholar and Four Year Fellow at the University of British Columbia. He currently teaches at UBC’s School of Architecture + Landscape Architecture and at the University of Toronto’s Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design. Doug has lectured and worked in professional practice across Canada, Australia, and the United States. His research has been featured in journals such as LA+, Environment and Planning D: Society and Space, BC Studies, Water Alternatives, and Cartographic Perspectives. Doug holds degrees in architectural design, fine art history, and landscape architecture from the University of Toronto, for which he was awarded the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects Award of Merit.
